MULLINS WV PARK

Overview

Mullins, West Virginia

This project was my final design for my residential landscape design class at Virginia Tech. My inspiration for this commercial park design was motivated by the town's deeply rooted history in the mining industry. I tailored the park design around the town council's desires to have an inviting communal space where they could host community events, weddings, and have a beautiful space where the community could spend their free time. After presenting our finals designs to the town council of Mullens, my design was chosen and the town of Mullens has since applied for a grant from the state to fund the construction of this park.
